  • 98 GT w/ 28k miles... price

1998 Ford GT Mustang. 28,500 actual miles. 5 speed, black with gray leather, power everything, cd player, ice cold ac. Modifications, a cat back exhaust and after market clutch cable. Tires are like new. Drivers seat shows a little wear. Car is a 9 out of 10.MUST SEE! Asking $7,700.

What do you guys think this is actually worth. Never been a fan of the body style, but I think it would look nice slammed w/ some saleen's on it.

I would be tempted to keep it stock and low mileage as a collector car.

My thoughts were the same... keep it low mileage and only mod what could be changed back easily such as springs and wheels/tires. I was thinking $5500, but in my head I know I"m dreaming a little bit on that as well.

This is the kind of car i would buy and drive, drive, drive it. paying $7k for it and dd'ing a super clean sn95 would bring me more pleasure than sticking it in a bubble just to sell for $3k more in 5 years.

At the end of the day, it's still a 98. I would say a low mile 94/95 would be more collectible.

Agreed. If a low mileage clean 95 cobra popped up I'd take it.

Fuck a 98, if it's sn95 it needs to be 94/95. I just sold mine to some bastard Yankee.

lol I agree w/ the 4.6 sucking balls, but man it's just super clean and cars like this are tough to find. 94-95 in this condition and I'd be on my way to get it.

I wouldn't pay a dime over $5k, but his asking price is reasonable, and someone out there would pay it, guaranteed.

I have never thought of any SN95 as a collector car. Low miles or not. But to each his own. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Lol most people want 5K for high mileage examples. I have to say that it's probably $6500-$7000.
