Wen tahead and shut the car down for a while. I'm going to have it looked at befo driving it much more. I'm going to avoid bringing it back to Ford until the gears, exhaust and/or suspension are fixed. I probably wouldn't be able to have gone to Ford anyways. I woke up to a fire alarm this morning. My brother decided to burn documents in the fireplace this morning, but did not open the flew(sp). More over, I spent the morning watching the house and trying to get the smoke out... Here is the result

I installed the exhaust. The only issue was that the pipe was *slightly* hitting the axle tube where it meets the pumpkin. The shop I brought it to notched out part of the axle tube and adjusted the flanges.

This....

It's still not how I would have handled that, but nowhere close to a notch in the axle tube.

That's not the axle tube. Looks like the housing bracing. Not ideal, but not causing your problems.

Clearance, for sure. It's on a portion of the housing that doesn't have a lot of stress on it, so structurally it isn't going to mean anything.

What kind of control arms are on the car, BTW? There's no back seat or anything in the car, the camera's mic was placed close to where the upper control arm bolts through the floorpan.

Do you have lowering springs on the car? Did you remove the top and bottom isolators? The reason I ask is I removed mine trying to get a little more drop from my springs and I do have some axle noise that could only be described as the axle turning in the axle tube. Mine's noticeable enough that I'll eventually put them back in. I can't tell how loud yours is. The metal on metal I have seems to amplify a bit of the noise.
