    WTF no C130's? I would rather see Fat Albert do a JATO take off than the Thunder Chickens any day, lol.


    I use to be a Crew Chief for the Viper West demo team when i was stationed at HILL. I really miss the air show circuit.
    You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

      Great photos. I saw many of the planes loop over my house as I live about 2.5 mile from Alliance.

      The Blue Angels and Fat Albert are usually in the spring show. Just look up if you are home!

          Yeah I saw the Blue Angels JATO C-130 multiple years ago. I thought I had heard they discontinued Fat Albert though.

          Unfortunately it was difficult to get any decent pictures of the static aircraft since they were surrounded by people so I missed taking pics of a few of them. I think next year I'll get the photography pass to get in early and take pictures of the aircraft on the ground in the early morning. The weather this year was too crappy for that anyway.

            damn i havent seen a F4 fly in years. thats pretty awesome. I've got my fingers crossed that it works out that i'm home for the houston airshow (and that the weather cooperates)

                      Not sure how much post processing was done to the pics you posted but it looks like you have room to work with them. Mostly to pull some color out of them to where it doesn't look like it was as dark as some appear.

                        Sweet! I was there. Spent my time as volunteer and then walked around. Great show. The tail stand of the F18 was amazing!!! Were you there on Saturday? (Looks like it.) I must be getting old because my legs and feet hurt like hell after standing on that tarmac for 6 hours! Great show none the less!

                          Yeah, I just cropped them to make them better pictures. Didn't do anything with the color.

                          Yeah I was there Saturday. Don't worry, I'm only 24 and my back and knees were pretty jacked up from standing the entire day...especially with how cold it was.

                                Always found these planes amazing, but the part that I really think is cool, is that my 6yo. took the picture.
