              They sell "maritime" spring cups specifically for the purpose of working around or in water.

              It's relatively safe to fire it underwater as long as you aren't standing in front of it. I'd imagine the shock wave is about like getting punched with a cinder block.

                There is a video out there of a guy standing waist high in water shoot under water. At the end of the video he said he took a piss, and a lot of blood came out. He said the concussion ruptured a kidney.
