The roof is factory, the interior trim and the pieces surrounding the grill inserts are aftermarket. THey make a carbon fiber rear wing that I want, but as with all BMW part, it's $$$.

All of those could be had for less, and I actually looked at a C6 back when I picked up the sedan. I re-considered all of my options this go 'round, and the M3 made the most sense for my wants and needs, besides the fact of seriously wanting one for several years.

Before I clicked on this I was thinking it would be an M3 and I don't think I've ever even met the OP before.

CA is broke - they ticket for everything all the time apparently. My cousin lives out there and he's always getting hassled by the man. He's a real hardened criminal so it must be profiling. He's a psychiatrist, in his 40's, father of triplets, married, has some prestigious position heading up something at Cedars Sinai, so you know, he's a regular Al Capone! lol

Seriously, when a guy like that is getting ticketed frequently you know the state must be doing very poorly.

Ironically I'm a consultant for the state agencies out here, so technically they paid for my car. I see government waste quite often, they have lots of money to spend, it's just grossly misappropriated.
