i ended up getting a slight coolant leak that was letting air into the cooling system. i pulled my intake to change the lower gaskets. it looked to come from the passenger side. after pulling the intake, the drivers side looked nice and clean. the passenger side looked nasty. i found this hole that you can put your pinky finger, down to the first knuckle, that is closed off. it looks to be a casting hole of some sort. i just want to know what it's for. i was told that the 87 and up heads don't have this. i am honestly new to this stuff, so i have no clue. when i bought the car, the valve covers were painted blue, so i know those have been off. would like some input on this, please.
