I'm an old man at heart...

Made a nice find last night in Jenkintown, PA.

    What could it be?

Looks to be in pretty good condition considering it has been in the dirt for who knows how long.

Condition wise from "good" to "uncirculated"
    1900 $11.29 $25 $120 $462
    1900 O $12.23 $41 $298 RARE
    1900 S $12.23 $38 $149 RARE

What makes them an O vs an S?

Meh--It's a $20 coin. Sentimental value... Also dug an 1801 large cent worth considerably more. In decent shape too. No video though..

Edit: O = New Orleans Mint, S = San Francisco Mint. Coins still made with "S" mint mark. No longer made in New Orleans.

I've been wanting to metal detect in some of these creek and river beds since they are pretty low. Lots of untouched land here. Cool shit.
