I've got a gopro, noticed all the Europeans doing it, seemed like a good idea, started doing it myself. I want a second cam for the rear of my car. Gopros just suck in low light though. Won't be much good if a drunk hits you at night.

You want to do it even more so if you ride - it seems that more often than not when a bike gets into a collision with a car they take off and leave you for dead. It happened to me over 12 years ago, would've been nice for the driver responsible to pay for my bike, ambulance ride, and hospital treatment.
I completely understand that viewpoint, however, you can tell from everyone freaking out, running, flipped plates, etc, that they weren't just being cool and obeying traffic laws.

My buddy was in that St. Louis ride and called me that morning. I listened to the police scanners most of the day. I love how certain people want the cops to set up road blocks and draw down on these "dangerous criminals", but one D.U.I. checkpoint and those same people are crying about their rights being violated.

Yeah it was the final ROC, they were filming for that.

For the most part most people are obeying the law, BUT it's the guys stunting up front that are the entire reason the ride exists.

On any big "stunt" ride only about 10% (my estimation) of the riders can/will actually wheelie, but if you've got 2000 people on that ride that's a lot of stunters.

The reason they were getting pulled over was their permit for this section of the highway was revoked, they had permits for different parts but in this area - it was revoked.

Is the govt telling us where we are allowed to go now? The police state is getting out of hand. It won't be long before we need to fight back.
Well, FWIW there is some little jurisdiction they pass through that are known for being cunts year round, like Pantego is here, and I wasn't there last Saturday, but if there was a place that would revoke their permit it would be that place. That's who did last year, set up the roadblock, and officers drew down on people.

Not sure, that's a good find. It was passed in April, so maybe it hasn't taken effect yet? It doesn't say anything about while in pursuit, it seems to point directly to setting up prior to any crime being committed. I dunno, but those arrested/cited might need to know about it.

The cops were posted up at the hotels hosting riders 6-12 at a time and ticketing everyone for everything they could. One hotel manager asked the police harassing their guests to leave politely and one of the officers told her "sure, we'll leave if that's what you want, but we'll never respond to another 911 call here again."

and they say government is anti-business! LOL

You should post those links on every video of this ride on the net. From the brief wording of the bill, the LEO's were clearly in violation.

I'm mad jelly - when my life was better I wanted to stunt out a Ducati. I've always figured it's time someone rides one like a MAN on the street.

I really like the RC8R - best looking bike out in my eyes. I want a mostly white one with bright green KTM graphics, matching frame, and chrome lip/green spoke wheels. I think SOME limited use of chrome can look good and different from both the overly blingy bikes and the murdered out types. Just enough to be unique either way.

He was doing 28mph in a 25mph zone. He probably should have just walked it out of the neighborhood... Give me a break...

                                Dude!
Get your own dreams. That one has been mine from the first time I saw an RC8R.
                                Aside from the stunting.
