FTP. First off, I thought they had to see it for themselves before they charged someone.

Second, fuckem. Even if she wasn't watching them. Who the fuck cares. They weren't 4 year toddlers.

Complete and total bullshit. This is precisely why I don't like the neighborhood mindset and why I am an unsocial fucker. She probably pissed her neighbor off and she called it in trying to get her in trouble.

Shame on the nosey neighbor who probably lied to the dispatch/officers and shame on the officers for not using common sense.

What a bunch of bullshit. So sending the kids outside to play is now "child abandonment"? So much for improving that childhood obesity statistic.

I'm sure there is far more to this than what has been illustrated in that video.

Probably, but on the surface it sure seems like a load of bull.

Man i was left home alone from age 7. Another reason to move out of the suburbs and into the country.

Yes sir. Raise your hand if you were a latch key kid smd home for 6 hours before your folks got home. (My hand is up). Even today we have kids riding go-carts, scooters, motorcycles, and golf carts in our neighborhood for hours on end. Let kids be kids.

If that were me Fatherford's thread would be nothing compared to the hell I would put the "neighbor" through. What the fuck is wrong with people, when I was growing up all the neighbors hung out no matter how much you liked or disliked the person. Different times I guess.

Wow, I'd have a permanent spot in county, because my kids are constantly playing in the woods, at the creek, and riding their bikes, scooters, and roller blading down the hill.

No doubt! Where's the civility anymore??? Use phone-> "Hey Betty, your kids are riding their scooters and I don't see you. Everything ok?"

When I was 9, me and my friends were ALL over the place...beyond the neighborhood. No one thought twice. And we did have a tight neighborhood. Most everybody had kids and we had a block party once a year.
