Hauling ass and there was a whole lane to use. Wonder what the rider's explanation of events was, if he can even recall the day.

I'm sure it went something like...."that fucker didn't have any lights on his trailer"...or some BS like that. Even though it was obviously a nice bright sunny day.

He didnt have any lights on his trailer, but jesus dont follow so close.

Most bikers like to put as much room as they can from the people in front of them. At least i did. Just knowing it gave me that much longer to react if something where to go wrong.

Guy was obviously going to fast, if the trailer had no lights (day or night) is would piss me off severely. I go to great trouble to make sure all my trailer lights work for the safety of myself and others.

I had a similar situation just out of high school, except I was the lead bike and by buddy didn't notice that I was slowing and moving to the should. He clipped me on the left rear side and put us both down. He came by like superman, hand on bars and feet point out and up before the bike went end over end.

Glad the rider wasn't seriously hurt.

I prefer the most room from cars behind me, I trust my reaction time more than others.

Was that the guy who clipped the trailer that went flying down the road or the camera guy?

Wait until there is a ladder or other trash in the road. When the vehicle your are tucked up behind swerves to avoid it you'll wish you had a bit more time when you're on top of it

Just something to think about, be safe!

That trailer has lights and reflectors I think. Not sure if they were working though. Speed was the issue and not paying attention. The other two riders should have been his first clue slowing down. Besides most trailer lights are not exactly bright during the day. When I ride, in my mind, everyone and thing on the rode is trying to kill me.

Smart man. You'll live much longer thinking, and riding like this.

                        My 2 cents.

If he was paying attention, he would have seen the bikes brake lights. Must pay attention to everything on the rode ; )

I can't believe the dumbass was gonna split his friends like that. When your buddies are slowing down, you might wanna figure out why!

lights may have been working. The camera is a little fuzzy and by the time the guy is really making the turn, he probably doesnt need to use his brakes
