Another Texas Rat Snake??

I found this little bugger in the front yard today. Decided to perform the execution to make sure. It looks like a baby Texas Rat Snake but it doesn't have cropped ears, so I need some DFWM confirmation..

Hognose maybe?

I killed one that looked real similar to that, it was hognose.
They flatten out around the neck, look like a cobra. They stick their tongue out and roll over, playing dead.

Yeah, I believe that is true for a lot of reptiles...no way to brush their teeth and all.
