Dude, you're a smart guy but are you kidding me? I actually planned on watching a video with somebody explaining why I should be clean or devote myself to god. This was really dumb. You might as well have posted, "Hey, you're addicted to heroin? Watch this powerpoint!"

the vid is just a promo for the program he is using. Imo it doesn't really correlate to the actual program as jdgreg is saying.

Congrats on the sobriety! Not all programs work for all people, so it's great you found one that works for you.

I'm just working on my bench press. Stick to what you're good at, like failing at being a cop.

Awww. Don't be mad, bro! Funny how you try to shit up threads like this and then whine like a girl when someone shits up yours.

That's funny. I don't remember "whining." Now go be a good wannabe and make a citizens arrest.

Congratulations on your sobriety. I'm glad you found something that works for you. I'll keep my opinions about CR to myself, though.

Congrats, I've been alcohol free for 19 months and my liver thanks me for it.

Both of you are whining about who's a whiner.

One question and you're threatened enough to go off like a hooker riding a mechanical vibrator. Of course you don't remember whining. A whiner never knows when they are whining. Now go be a good gym janitor and rack my weights instead of mouthing in threads trying to make them about you. Don't forget to be a good parrot and post up the latest bargain health club, fluffy fru fru drink.

Your last sentence interested me. I've heard some other people make a similar comment on CR, too. I'm not real familiar with the program, but our old church had some members of the program.

This is just speculation, but I believe it's due to the overt Christian faith-based theme of CR.

That would be speculation, as my children are, in fact, reared (and very active) in the church. I am quite capable of acknowledging the strong points of the Christian faith, though I consider myself agnostic. I also acknowledge the strong points of other organized religions, as well.

I choose to not put my full opinion of CR out there, as to not discourage any means that one sees fit to combat their addictions. As with any addiction program, it's not without it's drawbacks. CR is a program that is put together by man, so by Christian doctrine, it is flawed, by default.
