That is very similar, but not exactly what I have. Sorry I should have been more specific....mine isn't a full kit from them, I had a set of CPP springs leftover from another project...2" fronts and 5" rears. I used those springs along with a set of 2" dropped spindles from one of the vendors on the 67-72 forum, and also picked up an adjustable trak bar off of Ebay...was like half of what everyone else was advetising them for. The shocks and relocator mounts are also from CPP (the same ones in the link you posted above)....they are the CPP house brand, but I'm pretty certain they are made by Doestch.

Nevertheless, for the sake of the height and the ride, it should be the same...I just have different spindles and Trak Bar. I really don't have any good pictures of it right now, but here is one from my cell phone (beware, it's a work in progress and I haven't had much time to spend with it these past few months).....

For more basis of comparison (you've probably seen it before), my old truck had one of the full CPP kits on it, but it was listed as a 5/5 drop...the truck initially rode like total crap in the rear....way too firm, and it had a bad "dog-sniffer" stance to it as well. The rear springs in that kit were fixed rate, though....and that truck being lighter in the rear with the SWB, didn't make for a good combo with fixed rate springs. Crazy thing on this one....one evening doing some work in the garage I came across a set of CPP 3" rear drop springs I had taken out of my 70' Chevelle....I got to looking at them and realized that the diameter was identical to the ones in the truck, exact same pigtails, and the height was very close, however they were progressive rate and weren't quite as tightly wound, so I decided to swap them in and give it a try....turned out awesome....lowered the rear of the truck about another 3/4" from where it was with the fixed rate springs, but the big thing was the ride difference....it was outstanding with those Chevelle springs in it...not too bouncy but not too firm either....the truck handled corners WAY better. Here's a couple pics with those springs in it....that truck still had a stink bug stance b/c of the crappy wheel combo, but you get the idea.....

The red truck is nice but the blue one is perfect.

Meh...it's far from perfect, but thanks for the compliment. I started with a very solid low mile original LWB, but it has extremely tired/aged paint, and is awaiting a drivetrain transplant as well. The red truck is way further along...nice paint, interior, and from the looks of it, I'm betting it drives nice too (with AC to boot!).

I often wish I had kept that 68', but I got good money for it. Had I kept it I think I would have painted the top white and done a (67-68) period correct 2-tone, put some of the 68' chrome trim back on it, and definitely would have swapped those front 18's for some 20's to match the rear and flatten the stance out more.

Seat looks great. Just needs a clear plastic cover to be period correct. My grandfather had a orange/white '70 LWB for years.
Did you look at CKresto for anything? Same guys as 50resto in Waco.

Looks like they aren't taking orders anymore for the trucks.

Yeah man, your truck looks great. I just wonder how the ride is going to be on that ECE kit? I don't really want to sacrifice much ride quality when I lower it. I know that is an oxymoron though. Also which wheels are those? I'd kind of like to stick with the 15" look.

I've heard nothing but good things about the ECE stuff. You'll really be surprised at how well they ride and especially how much improved they handle with a good static drop.....honestly it's not so much an oxymoron in these trucks. When done right they will actually ride way better than stock....still smooth, but firmed up enough to take away all the slosh they are so known for. A good static drop and a factory 3/4 - 1-ton front sway bar will do wonders....I'm serious when I say you'll be amazed. However, just be aware that you are limited on spindle drop with 15" wheels...so if you are planning to stay on 15's, I'd strongly suggest that you carefully research your spindle options....I originally had 15x8 truck Ralleys on mine (my old sig pic) when I first installed everything, and I couldn't even drive it b/c the wheels didn't clear the lower control arms well enough to turn hardly at all. The truck also looked way low with the 15's on it. The current wheels are 20x8 & 20x10 Coys, and they are a 1-off finish. I custom ordered them with magnesium colored centers, and then flat machined/brushed barrels with matte clear powder coat....I was going for kind of a retro theme. I've also got some custom machined center plates in the works, to replace the chrome center caps. Tires are 255/45s, and 295/45's....it U-turns to the locks with zero rubbing now.

If you plan to stick with 15's, you might think more along the lines of a 3/4 drop. I think they look really good on the right set of 15's too.

BTW - I found a HD fan among my parts stock, but haven't yet located a clutch...however I'm almost positive that I have a brand new one somewhere....I'll let you know when/if I find it. I should be able to get some more time this weekend to look for it.
