Or hit it straight on like you should do. The concept is to jam on the throttle to lift the nose, and then throttle down to keep from blowing the engines and drivetrain as the ass comes out of the water and back down.
My dad thought he was funny once and ripped the wheel hard left at full throttle. We looked just like that I am sure. We did not get hurt but until the wheel centered we were pinned against the wall.

The driver of the boat, Marvin Carter, III of Memphis, TN suffered moderate injuries and a blow to his wallet as well. He’s being cited for speeding and imprudent operation of the boat. Five of the seven people on board were hospitalized, four of them with moderate injuries including broken bones.
