I like long beds, more utilitarian for my purposes. Can fit ATV, my sons dirt bike and all the other camping crap in the bed.

I can respect that. If he plans on using this truck as a daily work horse it makes sense. But honestly in my opinion anytime I see a clean long bed I wonder why. Short beds are the toys, the appreciated hot rods.

Sometimes people build what THEY like, and don't give a fuck what other people like.

I think that build is bad-fucking-ass.

everyone loved SN65 or whatever it was with the 03 Cobra stuff in a 65 fastback....

I think it is badass.. Id love to have airbags, a/c, cruise control, etc in a classic.

Ive been wanting to do a build out of a ranger and something like an old 50's studebaker pickup, using the firewall and ac/heat components under the old dash. The look and feel of a classic truck with the comforts and driveability of a latemodel.

Not a fan of that body style of truck what so ever. But damn what an under taking! Should be interesting when he is finished. I love old vehicles with retro interiors.

It appears he's using the ecoboost's frame. That's why he chose a long bed I bet.

Yea he said that the ecoboost framed matched up closes to the long bed on the 66. Think it was within 3 or 4 inches.

i'd have to search around to find it, but there was a guy who put a 62 chevy truck body on a 97-ish s10 frame.. ket it a 4cyl.. 5spd to boot!

                              wow...
Original price was 34,200.00, I picked it up for less than 10% of that.

I couldn't believe that the 11 frame cab mounts all lined up with the 66 body.

Sick build, and I can't even imagine taking on something like that.
