thats going to be a pretty nice car when the stripe is gone and its polished, and i agree the grille is a nice touch

If that's a new car, there will be no Color difference. Start at the pointed part with your fingernail and peel away. I peeled raptor graphics off the truck right in front of the shop. Took 20mins to remove all by hand.

Yeah, It was really the only chrome piece on the car. Its plasti dipped for now until i can find someone with a black grill or have this one painted. I heard you can get a mono chrome grill color of your choice at the dealership. But i had no knowledge until after i bought it.

Also, its a used car. not sure if the dealer put it on or the previous owner had it installed. Either way im not sure how long its been on there?

Just peel it off and see what happens. Even if the paint is any sort of different underneath it's going to look better with it off.
