      Thanks for the comments.
Yea thats what I was thinking with the patina. Im gonna polish the nozzle and some of the chrome to ad a cool contrast to the patina. Also put the sqaure ad glass on the top of door that will light up with the globe, and replace the main faceplate glass on the door.

Finally got me a handle for a decent price, and hit it on the polishing wheel for about 15 min.

Sweet! I love old pumps. I want some glass tops for my shop but they cost more than I have into my truck. LOL

I restored one for my pops a few years ago and painted it to match his 55. Put a radio in it with a few 6x9's. It will soon be bolted down out by their burn pit and bbq.

That's awesome man. I vote for keeping the patina.

I'd leave it just like that. That's a great piece, especially with a mid-'60's Cobra.

I think it is perfect how it is right now. Very cool.

+1 for preserving as is. If it was a complete wreck id say restore, but that just looks fucking cool.

Did you redo the inside piece with the writing? I've got an old Exxon mobile pump that someone spray painted over the writing I've been wanting to clean up
