  • New Wheels on the Mustang....Finally

Finally ordered new wheels and tires for the car. TSW Valencia 20x8.5 and 20x10 with 255/35 and 285/30 Nitto NT555 tires. Gave the car a quick bath and snapped a few pics.

    Next up: Springs, CAI, Tuner.

20" fits that car well, nice.

Not a fan of rivets though.

Love the wheels, just not sold on the rivets myself either. May end up painting them matte black to match...

He man, if they make you happy thats all that counts. Im just not a fan of black wheels, no matter what car they are on. They could be 10k HRE's on a F-430 and if they are in black they just don't do it for me.

It's cool man. I don't expect everyone to like it...

I just wanted to make sure you didn't think I was being an asshole/hater.

I mean most of the time I am, but not this time...

The car lowered an inch and a half in the front and 2 in the rear would make a WORLD of difference on the looks. I think attempting to paint the rivets would be a disaster, especially trying to put them back on. You'll probably just mess up the paint doing so. Im sure you could go to a local nut&bolt shop and they would probably have them, or could order them for you.

                But the pattern looks good

I do like the deep dish in the back and the 20inch size. Lowering it will make a huge difference.

Usually those "rivets" aren't even actual screws, they are just put in with epoxy. I think they would look better with a polished lip, but that is my assessment on any car with black wheels. I like the style, minus the rivets and lack of polished lip. Definitely lower it next.
Will make all the difference in the world.

I like them, I think a lot of "older" folks won't though.
