Lol, he is saying that the older guys have more experience in the tuners. My uncle is a demon at building older engines. He is great at it, I would go so far as to say the best, but he doesn't know a whole lot about the newer stuff. He calls me for that. Just like I call him when I am stumped on an old carbed engine.

As for everything that assclown rattled off, that is called being a mechanic, there is nothing special about it. The "education" system for mechanics is laughable at best.

You are correct, and as sad is it is most of the young guys are going to be good at what they do, but they spend the first 2-7 years learing on the customers car.

If you watch the whole video, there is ALOT of truth to it.

Customers need to do their Shop Research, Have realistic expectations, Not believe everything you see on the internet, Not Trust your car to a place just because you think they are cool, etc.

If one shop is good at one type of car - This does not mean they can do a great job at yours.

I'm not too sharp on import drag racing history, but I think he went tens about 20 years ago. Car eventually went 6's. In the mid to late 90's he had the tubbed purple supra with a TH400 (IIRC) that was all over import magazine advertisements.
