I am a huge Hendrix fan and I remember the night this was debuted on the radio. I was in that same '85 Camaro and pulled over in complete awe as to how well done it was.

I tend to lean towards hendrix. That little wing was done better, but only because it was no vocals. Hendrix version is really short and would have been cool to here him expand it. Maybe it is out there and I havent heard it.

My Mom used to watch him at Anton's in Austin when i was a kid.i remember her crying when he died. I'll never forget it, like it was yesterday. Best or not nobody plays or played with emotion like he did.
