What kind of power do they make with a pulley swap and a tune?

I figured the ZR1 would just run away with a quickness. I was suprised the gt500 kept up for as long as it did.

Well I stand corrected! Well no excuses then for the GT500, I guess we could argu it makes more TQ off the line then the Vette & maybe it spun! But im more of a guy who likes a car that gets decent mileage & im sure the Vette has that covered also

        Seb's high class.
        He'll mow your grass.
        He'll kick your ass.
And while his kidney stones pass,
        He'll piss in a glass!

If I wanted to go around some curves Id be driving a Porsche Cayman R. The GT500 was designed for one purpose and that was to go fast in a straight line. For a second there you sounded like a ZL1 owner.

My money says the Vette would walk all over the GT500 in track course

Throw a Kenne Bell 4.2 on the Shelby with E85 and get over 1300 HP.

              This guy ran a 8.48 @ 164 with one:

The ZR1 gets 14/21 vs the GT500's 15/24. Quite impressive considering the GT500 is 500 lbs heavier and makes more power.

Without a doubt, less weight + IRS + magnetic ride suspension = bye bye Shelby

And the cd rating ain't helping the GT500.

My vette has been the best fuel mileage car I've ever owned. That is one of the major reasons why I like them.

Impressive. My cash is better spent on the Shelby, but I like door handles and a hood without a tupperware window.
