      Not suprised, The Vette prolly weighs close to a 1000lbs less then the GT500 too! Like Juiced4V said, Im suprised it took the Vette so long. The GT500 did pretty Badass in my book & im a GM Fan over Ford, But have love for both!

                        As for the GT500, I bet the bulk of the difference is the cd/frontal area difference. Any C5 or newer Vette has a distinct advantage there.
                        The mere fact a video had to be posted with a turbocharged mustang is proof enough of that ZR1's capability. The ZR1 truly is a super car - straight line is 10% of the R&D on that car.

                              The GT500 will be widely available for well under MSRP pretty soon, the market is already going away on them. It did hang with the ZR1 a lot better than I thought it would. The ZR1 is pretty bad ass.
