Man that old footage brought back memories. The facility in 67 appears to be in a lot better shape than it was when i ran there right before it closed down.

The developers dug up the last remaining pieces of the track this last week. Make way for more new housing and say the last goodbye to an old friend. Progress sucks!

Got to go to my first road race and saw those bad ass Shelby Mustangs run there. At several spots you could stand about 30 feet away from the track without any guardrail or anything between the cars and you.

I saw what was suppose to be the first 7 second quarter mile run there but the track checked "short" and was not a legal run.
