There are street legal sprints but they are longer because you have to add a tranny to them bc race cars are direct drive off crank to rearend.

Does not sound believable with all the shit it takes to get a car legal in commiefornia. Sounds like an urban legend.

        Link to proof?

Agreed. Odd choice for a dirt track racing video, but good song nonetheless.

I spent a lot of time growing up at Devil's Bowl and Thunderbird Speedway back the 80's. I love dirt track to this day. I love sprint cars, but I quit watching the WoO series when they quit coming to Devil's Bowl and Lonestar Speedway. One of my fav classes are Late Model's! Hell I have a street stock with a never ran motor sitting in my Dad's garage, but have no money to mess with racing right now.

Understand what ya mean. I am trying to get into driving. I have barrowed a friends car and run a few heat races. I haven't done too bad, but deffinantly have alot of room for improvement.

My favorite form of racing. My dad used to take me to Cowtown Speedway years ago. I remember leaning against the wire fence at turn 1 and getting all that hot mud thrown in my face. Shit, I need to go see it again soon.

Man, I can't even imagine. It's about as close as you can come to strapping your ass to an engine and riding it.

I know our 04 Maxxim Chassis wouldn't sit flat on the ground. The left side of the car at the down bar behind the driver was an inch off the ground and the right side would be touching the ground all the way around.

Our Wolfweld Chassis aren't that bad they sit alot flatter.

thats because it was a raised rail for when the car wings down and you don't want it dragging the earth. you block them accordingly
