I've never really understood the "collector" philosophy. I might get a few of something, or of some theme, but I can't get myself to buy an ass-load of something just for the sake of looking at it. I'm way too utilitarian for that.

Even with guns. I could never imagine owning more that 4-5 guns.. And that is if I needed them. Sub compact pistol; full frame pistol; shotgun; "assault" rifle; hunting / game rifle. Anything more than that is just a waste IMO.

This isn't meant as a knock or anything, BTW, I don't think it's a bad thing. Just not something I have ever been into.
