Are the police trained to stop a car by placing their foot in the path of the wheel?
When the guy got in the car the officer didn't look like he even spoke to him.

Because, there's nothing to talk about... you're getting this goddam ticket and you're gonna like it, ya spoiled mothafucka!!!

If the car really applied that much pressure to his foot, cop would not have been able to retrieve it from under the tire. Car didn't roll back any or elevate to the height of his big ingrown toenail stuffed in his sketchers shape-ups.

Looks like he saw a window to be a badass, and climbed the fuck through it.

            A Couple things.

If the car was supposed to be there and it was a valet spot I would imagine the cop would know that since he works in the city. Valets in front of buildings are typical, and if what was mentioned above is true he probably should've checked with the valet - doesn't seem right.

As for the foot shouldn't have been there part, I don't really think that has anything to do with it. The guy shouldn't have drove off, period. The guy was wanting to be a hard ass and got what he deserved. It's a fucking ticket. A ticket verse, fleeing, or assault on a cop. Pretty stupid no matter how you look at it.

If a cop blocks off a street with spikes or his car, and gets plowed, is the response to that, "the cop shouldn't have been trying to block the road?"

If you have a little shit of a child and he is throwing a fit, runs to his room and tries slamming his door only for you to put your hand in the door before it closes, then he pushes his weight into the door slamming it shut, does that mean, its the parents fault? Probably so since it most likely hurt, but should the kid have been throwing a temper tantrum to begin with? Probably not....

Both seem to be way in the wrong but there's more to the story. I don't know why the driver didn't ask what was going on first unless something happened beforehand and he knew what was up.

Ferrari owner is a douche for trying to drive off but the cop shouldn't have put his foot infront of the car, obviously the guy would have gotten the ticket regardless, if through the mail, on the windshield, or handed to in person.

Great acting by the cop, that was some Hollywood shit right there, I've had my foot ran over more then once and didn't walk like that lol.

Who cares, you know the guy has a 1 in a 100,000 chance of being charged with any serious crime.

Shit the department will probably end up paying for the car to be buffed.

in the autoblog story they say...

According to the New York Post, the Ferrari driver in question is 28 year-old Julien Chabbott, an internet entrepreneur. The Ferrari was cited for parking in a no-parking zone, along with failure to display an NYC inspection sticker in its front window and failing to have a registration.
maybe legit ticket? at any rate he shoulda been fighting crime instead of writing tickets!

That was around 600lbs that rolled into his foot, I debate it was ever underneath the tire. Was the guy an asshole? Yes. Was the cop a terrible actor? Without a doubt.

The first thing that entered my mind was "back in the New York groove"

The cop was a stupidass for trying to "restrain" him by putting his foot in front of the tire.

The guy was even more of a stupidass for trying to "leave" by bumping into / driving over the cop.

Both of those idiots got exactly what they deserved. I'm pretty FTP, but c'mon.
