Found this little guy in my driveway this morning.

At first I thought it was a Texas rat snake, but it didn't have cropped ears so I went ahead and kept it.

I have one of those lurking around my plants. I leave him be so he can take out any bugs that decide to get near him. Do you know what it is?

If that's the Horned Lizard, the state reptile of Texas, then it's illegal to keep it as it's one notch above endangered.
