Yeah, ya know, I figured what the hell, I've already spent this much time and money on it, why not make it NICE. I originally wasn't planning on painting the whole car but I'm going to go ahead and paint it. I'll get it running and driving and work the bugs out before I paint it though.

Yeah I kind of like the idea of the underneath and underhood being painted and new looking awhile the exterior has the patina like yours has.

I haven't had time to work on it much lately. Got the engine/trans back in it after the smoothed/painted firewall, and had to modify the hydroboost bracket to get it off of the coil on the farthest back driver's side, but haven't touched it since then.

So, obviously, it's not going to be at GoodGuys or Round Up.

There was a corvette that had some adapters with old school finned corvette valve covers on it. The car was red with a satin orange engine.

If I were running a carburetor they might look a little better than with the LS1 car intake. Either way, I've got a bunch of other shit I need to buy that I could spend that $170 on.

Saw this on ls1tech, thought of goldmember!

Really doesnt look too bad, carb intake and most wouldnt be any wiser.
Still looks much cleaner without the ugly ass coil packs out in the open.
