They can make light of people dying from an incident just days prior yet go ape shit crazy when one individual expresses their belief regarding homosexuality and how it will bring the wrath of God upon them, yet, according to most of them, isn't God a fictional character? Yeah, they can go on about gun control and the terrible violence guns bring then turn right around an make light of a horrible event like that. Chances are, his career will be fine.

Michael Richards on the other hand goes off with some racist slurs to some naggers acting like naggers and he makes public apologies, stirs up Sharpton and Jackson, ends up on the nightly news and tanks his career.
