It varies, but for something like this, we would probably impound it and make it REALLY hard/expensive to get it back.Originally posted by CJ-95GT View PostWhy did they take the bike which they say is now owned by the province. I might be wrong, but I don't think the US confiscates vehicles for this type of behavior. Or do we?

Here's another at an indicated 189mph. If you start the one below at 0:35, and the one up top at 1:30, the tachs are both near red-line. The lines in the road look to be moving the same.Originally posted by VaderTT View PostI agree it's an exaggeration, but it's has to be faster than 115mph.

You really think that truck was passing a truck/trailer and doing 90?Originally posted by Big A View PostHere's another at an indicated 189mph. If you start the one below at 0:35, and the one up top at 1:30, the tachs are both near red-line. The lines in the road look to be moving the same.

I took mine to 155, it scared the absolute beezejus out of me. Neither one of those videos showed over 180mph
The second video, maybe 140ish. and the first video he was more in the 120 range.
My expert YouTube watching speed calibration app says so.

That s exactly why I gave a specific time in each video to start watching, neither rider is going full bore the entire video. You can watch the tac on the one, and the shown speed and tac on the other to know that. Traffic and the white lines just verify it. I'm pretty sure they both sifted more than once as well.Originally posted by Baron View PostYou really think that truck was passing a truck/trailer and doing 90?
You don't really think that they were supposed to be going 180mph+ the entire vid do you?
