  • Took my daughter to glen rose

Took my 11 year old to Glen rose this past weekend. We had a blast. Big rock park is really cool for kids. We hit a few places in the county, but most is all closed off for off-road now.

man, I absolutely love the pictures! Last time I was there was about 25 years ago.....that has been far too long.

well, now I believe it is time to take my daughter there.

    Thanks for the reminder!

Very cool, I only know about glen rose from going to tarleton in the 90's and having a wife who was from there. I used to roll the Cj-7 all over the place with no worries, now its all shut down. but its still a great place to take the kids and have a good time.

I love that river crossing . I have killed more than my fair share of brain cells in that very spot .

There is a few river crossings still open. All the good 4 wheel spots have been closed up for years. Xterra would have no problem the water is low.

Lol. True, but some of us had to work full time for 5 of the 7 years to pay for it. Takes a little longer that way.
