Yeah I'm already considering changing the wheels. Can't till it's lifted next week anyway though I'll just deal with it till then.

I run the H&S Mini Maxx 300 tune. I think my buddy's 12.78 was on a KEM tune. I personally don't care for Spartan or KEM. I would consider custom tuning on the SCT platform, but H&S just released the MCC tuning option for their Maxx series, and the canned tunes on the mini maxx do everything I need them to.

I think I would be pretty happy with a canned tune, I dont need any custom programming. Is the EGR delete, really that important/beneficial?

Damn that truck looks good on 35's, that is exactly what I want to do to mine. Thanks for the update, I've been wanting to see one without a lift on 35's with the 18in wheels before I dropped $1500 on tires.

No trans issues, but I drive my truck easy for the most part. I have no plans for taking this truck to the track or doing 4wd launches, etc.

It's an F350 CCLB SRW with a service body on it. With me, the dog, and a tank of fuel, it weighs in right at about 9500lbs. It has surprised a lot of people, but it's not quick enough to go tearing it up trying to prove anything. It's my money maker, so I take it easy on it.

Hence wanting a single cab as a toy/grocery getter

That's really a crappy picture. It looks 100x better in person and is much bigger (TWHS)

Ever since I got the truck I have felt like the factory tire looked way undersized and just didn't feel out the fenderwell like I prefer them to. I'm wanting to go the with General Grabbers with red letters, but damn they are high.

There isn't anybody with custom tunes for the 6.7 Scorpion that are any better than H&S's canned tunes. Some are worse! LOL

Everybody will tell you you need to delete the EGR... especially if they're selling you on the parts and labor!

The theory on the 6.4's is you'll blow the coolers and hydrolock the engine and bend a rod, etc.

My theory is I'll see the white smoke and shut the engine down as countless other people have.

for a novice on the 6.4, it's about a 10-12hr job on the EGR delete. the tuning turns off the EGR valve, so there's no exhaust gas flowing through the system at that point. I plan on driving mine and IF I have a problem, the cab's coming off, and I'm doing full EGR delete, head studs, and a fresh oil cooler.

Until then, I'm gonna drive the wheels off of it as I've been doing.

The Dodge 6.7's only take about 30min to do, but I've literally only heard of one cooler failing, and it caused no peripheral damage.

I'd venture that there's no reason to physically block/delete the EGR on a Scorpion, but I'm sure everybody will tell you that you absolutely have to

I'd put factory 20's on it

I like those red label Grabbers too, probably what i'd run if I was any further west.

I also thought about putting 20's on it, but I wanted a taller sidewall.

Awesome info on the EGR - probably saved me $500 lol

That was my original plan, with a set of 10' 20's, but I've really grown to like the 18's and around here there is actually less people with the 18's so oddly enough the cheaper wheels make the truck stand out lol.

My 6.4 just went in the shop yesterday for a crack in the oil cooler, and a clogged DPF at 144K miles.

I just ordered a Mini Maxx, DPF/CAT delete pipe, and AES cold air. Should have the truck back Monday. And my parts will be here on Monday too, thanks to Mike, Beenfetchedlately.

I'll have to shoot him a text and get some pricing on that too.

And I love the way the 6.7s look.. kinda thought about swapping front ends so I have the best of both lol
You have 37s with just a leveling kit? Do you have any pics of that?

I plan on getting a 6.4 in the Future - No Rub? Does it need a special wheel? to push the tire a little more out of the Fender?

You can run 37's with stock wheels on a leveling kit. Even the tire shop told me so yesterday. Hell, I have 35's no rub and no lift right now. The 37's rub the radius arms though at full lock.
