it's a small percentage on the grand scale, but still, it IS an issue

I'm never happy with stock power

        on anything
In 2011 the pickup (wide frames) had a dual boost vgt turbo, the chasis cabs or (narrow frame trucks had a single boost vgt turbo without a waste gate, all of the turbo problems i have seen have been on single boost turbos, 3, and all of the motor problems have been in narrow frames as well 2, both dropped valves. I havent seen any of the dual boost trucks have a turbo problem, but they have a recall out for a reprogram, that adresses possible turbo exhaust fin breakage, I dont know turbos changed in 2012 bit i dontthink they did.

they're turds in stock form compared to what I've grown accustomed to over the years, but everybody swears up and down they run great

the fit and finish is awesome on them though

I love it. I was going to put a programmer on it and still might in the future, but now even with 35's on it, it's still PLENTY!

Definitely not a turd but Fit & Finish is awesome.

drive my CCLB 6.4 and then hop back in your truck

Like I said, I'm just used to more power. I've been driving 500+rwhp trucks for 10yrs. The 6.7 definitely isn't lacking compared to any other stock truck!

                  I'm currently shopping for a single cab 6.4. Tune-only mid 12's wha?

oh and don't lift it. truck looks tits as it sits

I traded a website for the lift, so I'm really not out any money. Plus its only a 3" lift so nothing major.

I've got a buddy with a stout 6.4 and good luck finding a single cab period. I had a hell of a time finding this one.

                        How does it ride now?

Should check you MPG before the lift. No wait- don't.

Well, due to the fact of a 12.5" wide tire on a 7" wheel, it feel very wishy washy, not very solid. I have a feeling after it's lifted i'm going to pick up some 18x9 BMF's though and that should fix that.

I dont expect a big change in mpg with a small lift, but I really dont care about the MPG anyway. I work from home and am usually having fun when I drive it anyway, whether it's to go fourwheeling or out on the town.

                            tune, exhaust, intake

my buddy's CCSB went 12.78 at Baytown w/ the same setup. the 6.7's with similar mods are about a second off of the 6.4's

I've found a bunch of them, had to bring my price budget up though Just waiting for the right private party deal to pop up. I'm pretty specific on the color and options I want. I passed up on one a few months ago for $17k. If I find that truck again for that price, I'm buying it LOL
