            Back in the day I bought a 89 coupe 5.0 hci In burlesson for $2,500 Guy was at the dealership trying to buy a truck and they wouldnt give him about $1,500
            We hooked it up on the tow truck headed home. Got to Oakcliff and this dude flagged us down and ask if its forsale I said $4k he said ok Towed it to his house and got paid Didnt even make it home!

                      I've had one sold in about 4 hours from pick up, but that one is pretty damn impressive.

                        hah, yeah only 15-20k in paint and parts. That car needs everything. Still, 7k would be a steal.

                        You can bet that the cowl is Swiss cheese and I'd take a close look at the floor pans. Chances are really good that they've got some holes.

                        That said, this car looks to be a good start for a resto.

                        So to sum up: listen to Danny. He's always right.
                        There was a time you could wright your own number on a blank check for any of the more desirable fastbacks. The shells did hurt their value. If you had the money to build a gone in sixty clone, and wanted it rust free, it was just as easy to buy the body/frame.

                          I asked the silly question about the chrome oil pan because I just sold one to a guy a few months ago who lived in Richardson that had a 65 Fastback. I wondered if it might be him.
