When I had my M38a1 I escorted a MOH recipient in the MOH Parade. It was an honor to due so, when I got back I looked him up and was astonished at his heroism. Truly movie sounding acts.

I actually recently looked into going from Air Force to Marines, but decided not to because Id go from E-5 to E-2. No thanks, I have a Boss 302 to pay for lol.

I've looked at going the other direction or even into the Army. Depends on what the promotion outlook is for me in the future. Sometimes MOSes get locked out for promotion.

If you ever want the MOS with the fastest promotion rates and the lowest promotion scores, Infantry. Most of us blew the ASVAB away but it's cake to make rank

Promotion rates were never a factor for me in choosing my AFSC, I knew I wanted to be around aircraft no matter what. So I picked fuels, and I get to be around all types doing this.
