So many nice cars here, I guess I'll be the odd ball...
In keeping with the past & present theme here, my first FOX Ford was a dead '84 Turbo Coupe. I corrected that problem quickly by transplanting the drive train from a destroyed former '90 DPS mustang I found in a Grand Prairie junk yard. It took a lot of people by surprise back in the day. Since it was factory equiped with a manual transmission, from the inside it appeared to be completely stock. However, starting it up was a dead give away to anyone with a trained ear for Flowmaster mufflers. Working for Super Shops back then helped me scrounge up all the go fast parts that could be had. Back then (1989), any street car that could run 13's was respectable. I earned my first winner's check with this car at Texas Raceway. Of course, by current standards and with today's off the shelf parts available, it was still pretty slow.

Here is the current FOX. It's only moddification has been the addition of the Flowmaster exhaust. With cold A/C & a fresh heater core it makes for a dependable daily driver. However, I have been sitting on the fence about possibly placing it up for sale lately.
