She got a bone and a Kong chew toy today. She better figure out quick not to chew on our shit ( we've had her for 3 weeks and this is the first time she has done this)

How old is she and where did you get her? I am thinking of getting a Dane for my next dog in December.

We had a rescue Dane a few years ago that decided to eat my hat, wallet and pair of shoes.
She never did it again, but I learned not to leave shit out for her to get either, lol. We also always just put her up in a room with nothing to tear up when we left for work each day.

Luckily we adopted our Dane after he was past this stage. I can only imagine the destruction he caused when he was a puppy. He still leaves craters in my back yard, not holes.. craters

My sister found a way to stop her dog from chewing on things. Her dog chewed on an extension cord that was plugged in. He has never chewed on anything since then!!
Annoying people, one post at a time!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Dane pups!! They're just like other pups, but on a grander scale!! Ours are cage trained, so when we go out, they go in! They seem to stop the worse antics around 11 months..
