saw you driving the mark on the highway a couple weeks back I'm pretty sure...
put on factory exhaust, possibly tint it, and clean up the front lights IMO. Leaving it as is would really be fine

LS swap would be sweet but out of the question. The old 350 in the truck runs perfect.
Of course the truck decided it wanted some attention due to the fact I was buying it non essential stuffs. LOL
Just replaced the radiator (end cap started to leak), thermostat, hoses and cap. AC had a persistent leak and turned out to be a bad compressor. Replacing the compressor I wanted to replace the accumulator as well but some idiot cross threaded it to the evap core so I had to cut it out and replace the evap too. While in the dash I saw the heater core was just starting to leak so one more part to replace. Yay.
Figured it was time for a trans service and oil change and just finished that up.

Replaced the cracked windshield and had the windows tinted. The chipped up side mirrors bugged me and I figured I would give covers a try because I didn't want to spend the cash on whole new housings. I guess they look alright but new black ones would look better. Oh well.
Also replaced all the front and rear light lenses. I like the new headlamps and turn signal housings but the corners are a little too clear. May try to find some frosted corners for it.

After that I am done playing with the truck and only thing I am gonna keep putting into it is gas and service. LOL!

I remember when I use to put stereos in my cars.

Me too. I still have a couple of good amps. I'm saving them for when I finally build a lowrider.

Most new cars have really decient systems in them these days. Alas I can not afford such newety. Stock system in this truck sucked. I like my sub $300 system. Has very clean almost studio quality reproduction.

So I still love my dang truck. I should, its all new! LOL. My old Pioneer deck gave up so I installed a new DEH-P8400BH that was a killer score NIB for $100. Nice to have HD radio and Bluetooth audio/phone streaming once again. Even has Pandora and a bunch of other crap I will never use but it has double the output voltage so turning the amps gain down really cleaned up the system.

Breakdown of what was done before this month over the last few months. New; brake master, brake booster, rotors, calipers, pads, shoes, drums, all drum hardware, wheel cylinders, exhaust, healights, turn lights, brake light lenses, radiator, heater core, ALL cooling lines, thermostat, AC compressor, AC drier, AC evap, AC lines, fuel filter, tint, windhield, alarm with remote start, full sound system (mini system for studio sound, not blast all of traffic with), cruise control, mirrors, door handles, rear shocks, trans service, O2 sensors and sway links.

So that brings us to this month. Got new Michelin tires based off everyone here raving about them. They are killer, great traction and quiet. Doing the tires showed me some front end stuff was worn so instead of piecing it out I just did it all. AC Delco inner tie rods, outer tie rods, adjustment sleeves, idler arm, pitman arm, idler swivel mount, Moog center link and some new Monroe Mono Tube Reflex shocks.

Cant believe what a difference that all made. No more constant corrections in corners. No more getting tossed around on dips and no more chipped teeth from bumps in the road. Always thought "Its a truck, it will ride rough and have vague steering." Well I was mistaken, not a sports car but sooooooo much better.

Anyway, took some vicoden and felt chatty.
