  • Got my 408w today

I just received my FordStrokers 408w today, I couldn't be happier with the quality. Here are some quick pics I took before I had to leave my house. It was packaged extremely well.

It'll be about another month before it's in and running.

FordStrokers is the only place I would go to get a motor built for me if had that kind of cash right now. Woody knows his shit.

You will get that HP for sure... Carb or fuel injected? I got more power out of my 408 with a carb over a fuel injected spyder intake.

I will be using a Super Vic EFI intake ported by tmoss, 90mm TB, and a 110mm intake elbow.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, it has been a long and expensive road lol

Nice! I had a cervini 4 inch cowl and it still rubbed on the elbow in my 89. Maybe lower profile motor mounts will help you squeeze that Windsor in there with a reasonable size Hood. Good luck on your build, love the 408!

Congrats Chris. I know you have been waiting for a long time for this. That is packed as well as anyone could ask for. My motor from AD Performance was shrink wrapped on a stand strapped to a pallet. $10,000 for a long block and that was the best he could do. I should have went with Woody.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I wil be using this intake elbow and don't have an issue milling the flange on it for extra hood clearence, I hope I don't need a 4".

Thanks Keith! It feels like it has been forever, my engine was 9k and still a stock block I will definitely be going back to them for my next engine build.

Well it is sexy. When are you dropping it in? Need any help or hoist, etc?

I still need to get my lower back from tmoss, then get it powder coated. My brother and I usually tackle everything, but hell I won't turn down help! Do you have a drill press? I need to drill and tap my upper for the ACT sensor, I'll compensate with beers
