I cant see it on the vid, but I'm confident that a guy who is (seemingly) used to running form the cops is smart enough to have a flip up license plate.

Then the frame is confiscated.

But that's a lot of work on a chance that they try to seize it.


I guess if they wanted to play the game, enter any part number with a VIN or partial VIN into NCIC/TCIC as stolen. Auto theft detectives have a pretty extensive bag of resources.
