Final testing before Open Track Connection heads to The 38th Annual Mid America Ford Nationals and Shelby Meet at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, in Jennings OK. Car did better then expected. We added a new 04 Cobra steering rack, which got rid of the steering play that we experienced before. We also added Kenny Brown Anti Squat brackets to the rear lower control arms which in turn got rid of the last little bit of dive we had in the car under hard braking. I ran a personal best of 1:20.009. Not the fastest.....but faster than most. Enjoy!

So you're racing a hatch? How does the chassis hold up? I've always wondered this. I would presume a notch would be a more rigid chassis for road racing, but I see far more hatches, is that because of cost, or aerodynamics?"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

This is a '93 cobra with an SLA front end and all kind of CF goodies. After you put a real cage in it the difference between coupe/hatch is probably not even measurable. Hatchback cars are just more plentiful/cheaper. Hell we ditched the entire hatch assembly and 1/3 of the windshield in our $500 car...
