ZL1 people are majorly butthurt... their "it's supercharged" excuse is no longer valid...and they still have more cubes even then. Ouch.

I still say the base Corvette coupe is the best car you can buy for the money. That is kind of my bottom line on this whole argument of money versus all around performance. It's like a sore dick, you just can't beat it. lol
I'll disagree just a tad on the base Vette comment. I think a relatively low option Grand Sport is actually the best overall performance package out there right now. It can do it all performance wise, and do it all day long on the track, for easily less than $50k OTD nowadays. Dry sump LS3, wide body, Z06 brakes/wheels/tires, TR6060, etc. Yum.Ford

With all that said, and as odd as it will sound, if I were to go buy a Corvette today I would probably be a Grand Sport because me wanting all the extra shit would make me forget all about the value thing. I'd be "thinking with my dick" so to speak. lolOriginally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

That said, before my recent '10 C6, I had an '08 Z51 LS3 Vette and it was an awesome ride for the money. I paid low 40's for it new with the mid level 2LT package and Z51 and I tracked that car for 3 years. I did intake, long tubes, cat-back, and R-comp tires and it ran great.
