  • Yep Danny, the dual tipped GT500 with the rear valance is about $900 from LMR. Kinda high for what they are, but I like them.

    • There are cheaper ways to get the 13 gt500 exhaust...

But it looks like crap, is really hard to do, sounds like crap and did I mention it looks like crap?

      • That is one of the best looking 13-14 I have seen. Those wheels look really nice.

BTW the first pass the car went into limp mode after the burnout and Clint Davis was driving my car the second pass. Those weren't my only passes of the night. One pass went 12.3 at 118 with a 2.1 60 ft and Clint went 11.8 at 119 mph with a 1.9 60ft. Still playing with it about where to launch from on those street tires but I will be switching to slicks very soon.
you got beat by a 3v lol

          • Getting beat by a 3V isn't so bad, there are a lot of fast 3V's out there. Getting beat by a stock 3V would be bad though.

            • I'm pretty sure a stock 1996 GT could put up a better time than that.

Yep, hence spending the money. Looks good, sounds great. I still haven't found any wheels better than the Brembos that aren't ridiculously priced.

That makes 575 rwhp and 615 rwtq. And I beat him twice before on he hwy. but he was on bald tires. He beat me with me running on bad fuel.

                    A stock 1996 GT can run a 11.8?

I got the axleback from the guy who had his 13 at Magnaflow for the mockups. But you can get them on SVTP pretty frequently for 300 or less. I got all the clips and valance from Tousley Ford for 120 I think. Cut the bumper and installed myself. It's the thing I get complimented on the most along with the stance.

Only problem is you pay the GT500 tax for the aftermarket axlebacks. I wanted the Magnaflows but you're looking at 600+. I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger on them or the Corsas. With the TVS and lethal O/R H it's enough noise for me.

Be very glad you didn't go with Magaflow...I bought into all the hype on that junk from the forums and I'm not at all happy with it. Put a catback on mine about a month ago and it's been back on the lift every weekend since, having to be readjusted...the shit simply just does not fit well and is near impossible to keep aligned in the exits on the bumper cover. I actually have a little paint rubbed off now b/c it has gotten up against the plastic so many times. We've gone WAY beyond what they claim...have even done some cutting/welding, bending, etc. The drivers side is finally where it needs to be but the passenger side was too short to begin with and just flat won't stay lined up.

I do like the way it sounds, but otherwise it's way overpriced for the quality (or lack thereof). I'm about done with it already and shopping for something that fits better....it sucks that I spent the money b/c I don't want to sell this garbage to anyone else either.

That's what I have on mine and I love them. At times they can be a bit loud but still love it.
