How do you like those GT500 mufflers, drone at all on your car?

Not at all, just loud(er) under throttle. I can brealy hear them cruising. Im getting old so there perfect for me.

Same here, thats exactly what I am looking for. No more loud race car stuff for me. For some reason, these new 5.0's are retarded loud too with full exhaust. I must be getting old when I can't stand that shit anymore. haha

My uncle just put the dirt-cheapest x-pipe he could find on his car. It has to be welded in, and it only replaces the h-pipe; you still keep your cats.

It has GT500 axle backs and that sumbitch sounds GOOD!! If anyting, it is more quiet than before, and it sounds "exotic." I think this is the way I will go too.

I have had a couple throw some loud revs at me, for fear of being labled as a panzy... I just wave...haha. It's all good.

You'd like them then. There inexpensive and have a great tone after you get a few miles on them and you can still have a conversation in your car on the highway without raising your voice.

Yes. I just pulled the stock off and replace them with these, didn't do anything to them at all.

I've got Jeg's cat delete pipes and GT500 axlebacks on mine. It definitely has some drone to it around 2000rpms. Not sure if going to a true offroad xpipe would help or hurt.
