Same here. Very close with my father and that one always gets me.

Being so close with my father, and now having a son of my own this one below really gets me as well...

      Clapton - Tears in Heaven
SRV - Life by the Drop
      George Strait - A Father's Love

I'm sure there's more but those come to my mind right now.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I cannot fathom dealing with something like that.

I relate songs to significant moments in my life, so I really have several.

Some songs that are hard for me to listen to, because of what they mean to me are..

              Counting Crows - Long December
              John Mayer - Atmosphere
              Colbie Calliat - Realize
              Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
Trace Adkins - You're gonna miss this

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

One of my all time favorites

As much as I'm not a fan of Tim Magraw this song will stop me any time I hear it.
"It's another burrito, it's a cold Lone Star in my hand!"

                          Garth Brooks - The Dance

I think we can all relate to this song in some way or another.

Every damn time. Especially since my dad asked me to play that at his funeral when he dies.

Leader of the Band by Dan Fogelberg, played at my grandpa's funeral. My dad was in Singapore when my grandpa died and I had to call him and tell him (I was 14) and he, through tears, asked me to play this song since he couldn't be present to say anything. That comes on and I damn near have to pull over on the side of the road.

The live version of Nutshell by AIC hits me as well.
