It used to be that only BASF line carried it, Glasurit & R&M. It was (is) expensive and you could only get it with a VIN and filling out a form from Ford. A BASF rep would come out to your shop and sell you exactly how much you needed and in the early days would take back the left over. They got more lax after a few years, but the only place to get it was from a paint store in Minn. Its been a few years since I bought from them, but from what I understand from Mark Preus you can get it from PPG at any local refinsh store.

And its kind of like a three stage system.

I remember that shit when they first came out. Hell, it seems to me it used to cost $1500 just for a quart of that paint!

This is my 3rd Mystic

My first Mystic Henry painted a few panels that were faded i installed 03 cobra seats. All ready had panhard bar and torque arm



My 2nd Mystic I bought off of here was in great shape. Nobody would buy it from the guy. I bought and sold it right away on Ebay

I was actually trying to buy this car back about a year ago but never did. I was concerned with dealing with the salvage title and any issues that would come with it

Update. Motor and trans are in. The 97 radiator didnt fit. Order the correct one. Will be up and running tomorrow!

Im working a guy right now who has a Mystic Bone Stock with 87k miles & a 8 on 1-10 scale on Exterior & Interior. He started at $7k, Ive got him down to 6k so far. I will feel comfortable at $5500 if I can get it for that
