Lethal force for a pocketknife in the hands of a non-threathening old man??? WOW, that's a new one.

The characteristics of the cop's walk showed that he was not fearing for his life or felt threatened in anyway. Also, it seems to me that if the old man was threatening the officer(like he had time to do so...), the woman that was using the crosswalk might have noticed something and steered clear of(or ran away from) the area.

The video said 7 seconds from the first request to drop the knife, it was more like 4~5 seconds. They started the timer when he yelled "Hey!"

Looks like homicide to me.
