The redeeming quality of a vette is they are very easy to work on compared to an F-body. I did long tubes from the top in about an hour, easiest headers I've ever done. Stories like this make me think even harder about buying a c6 z06, wife is on board too. Looking for some decent deals. I like the motors better in the C6 cause the oiling issues are addressed in the LS3 motors & they are powerhouses stock. Something like 350+ RWHP stock. What I learned about C5's is you better spend money on the transaxle or that shit will murder you when it blows up. I've blown up two of them and I wasn't doing anything except accelerating.
