Got over half my money left from the Sale from the Vette in savings & selling my Flat Black Coupe & 95 5spd 5.0 GT is about to be posted up for sale too. That sucks man, makes my butt pucker thinking about having to deal with that on mine. It really is amazing how great of an engine the LS1 is, and also how glaring it's faults are. I have seen SO many LS1's eat shit over oiling problems. Yeah it really sucks. LS1s when they are new! Run like Raped Apes, But once they get some miles on them about 80k & you go dog them out you better check the oil cause good chance with that kinda mileage your gonna spin a bearing.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View Post
I spun a bearing once on a LT1, But this was my first LS1 motor it happened on. Just hate that it was in a Vette. I could see the Vette turning in to a money pit real quick had I kept it & rebuilt the motor it would have been Headers, Cam, Intake, Yada yada MONEY MONEY! I really want to focus on getting a shop built so I can have a place to put all my cars so I can flip cars as a old man & have a place to park them & work on them & never have to leave home to make money!GOD BLESS TEXAS
