It's a comfortable ride with a little bit of power. I'm really enjoying it 3 weeks into ownership:

Yeah, it's a '12. I'm really impressed with how easily and smoothly it drives around town, but you nail the gas and it just gets up and goes. This thing doesn't screw around. Interior quality is surprisingly good, lots of gizmos/gadgets, really just a great job. The difference from the 1st gen CTS-V (V1) to the 2nd gen is striking. I can't wait to see what GM has in store for V3 as well as the upcoming ATS-V (3 series sized fighter). If it's the same jump from V1 to V2, it will truly be a world-beater.

Both. Six-speed auto. Love the behind the steering wheel shift buttons, sport mode (pretty aggressive shifts), rev match downshift, and then the cruise/smooth shift mode in DFW traffic. It's a great transmission overall. It's not a DCT/PDK level of shifts, but it's pretty impressive how good GM configured the 6L90 in this car. It definitely gets the job done.

I have the TR6060 in the Vette if I want to row the gears, so it's the best of both worlds IMO.

I've been looking and it's tough to find a manual! Seems like 80% of them are autos. I'm just not ready to stop rowing the gears Nice car though! Recaros?

As an only car, I'd definitely go manual, but for a DD with a separate fun manual car for the evening/weekend, the auto is pretty awesome. You really need to try one out. It definitely gets it done and the 6L90 is a stout transmission, just ask Will.

Got Recaros, ultraview, and some midnight saeple wood trim crap. Recaros are awesome with all the adjustments, heated/cooled, and great support. It just amplifies how awful my Vette seats are for aggressive driving.

Pearl white color is the best for those cars. Yours looks sick

Very nice! That would be my choice as well, but either silver or black. Surprised you didn't go with silver.

haha, I was about to post that. I saw a sweet white V wagon with black wheels and yellow Brembros in McKinney the other day. Almost broke my neck looking at it.
